I also think if you use 2 different tiles on walls and floors, using the same grout color on both is a good way to tie the 2 tiles together for a more harmonious room. It will accentuate/define the tiles, without being too harsh, which really I think the charcoal is just too harsh in my opinion. It was huge in the 90s and in the right modern space has always been classic, but different versions of it in various finishes are starting to come back and we are into it.
